Snow Depth: Minnesota DNR - Reports on Northwest Minnesota Trails

Snowmobiles are a common sight during the winter season in Warroad. Nearby Beltrami Island State Forest offers 120 miles of groomed trails. Even during years with minimal snow coverage, snowmobile enthusiasts can enjoy their sport on the 317,000 acres of snow-covered ice of Lake of the Woods. Cool down during the dog days of summer on the wrap-around porch at the Trading Post at Warroad Point Park. Look out over the mouth of the Warroad River on Lake of the Woods as you enjoy an old fashioned ice cream cone or a quick meal from The Buoy Drive-In.
